MPU6050 IMU
The MPU6050 is a popular 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) that combines a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer. It is commonly used in robotics and autonomous vehicles for measuring orientation, acceleration, and angular velocity.

The breakout board used on the car is the GY-521 module. It's mounted on the main riser:
